JOR-EL GIVES LOIS SUPER POWERS; KARA RETURNS — Clark (Tom Welling) takes Lois (Erica Durance) to the Fortress to get Jor-El’s (voiced by Terrance Stamp) blessing for their marriage.” Jor-El bestows a unique wedding gift on the couple – he gives Lois Clark’s super powers so she can see what it’s like to be him for a day. Unfortunately, the Toyman (guest star Chris Gautheir) has returned to Metropolis, so Lois must go up against the notorious villain instead of Clark. Meanwhile, Oliver (Justin Hartley) searches for the Bow of Orion, which he believes will remove the Omega symbol from his skull, and runs into Kara (guest star Laura Vandervoort), who is also on a mission to stop Darkseid.
It’s been a very busy season for Smallville, which has seen the introduction of several new heroes and villains from the DC Comics universe, andClark Kent getting ever-closer to becoming Superman – which has included him wearing a familiar S shaped logo on his shirt, and a relationship with Lois Lane. BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN RETURNS AS METALLO AND CLARK IS INFECTED WITH RED KRYPTONITE — Zod (Callum Blue) continues to pose as “The Blur” and asks Lois (Erica Durance) to investigate one of Tess’ (Cassidy Freeman) secret labs…. An explosion rocks the lab, and Lois is rescued by John Corben (guest star Brian Austin Green) who was a subject of multiple experiments. While investigating the explosion, Clark (Tom Welling) is exposed to red kryptonite. And infected Clark takes Zod to the Fortress. Tess turns to Chloe (Allison Mack) for help and they send in Corben to stop Clark from revealing all his secrets.
BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN (”TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES”) CONTINUES HIS ROLE AS JOHN CORBEN — After being struck by a truck, John Corben (guest star Brian Austin Green) wakes up alone in an abandoned apartment as a man-machine with a Kryptonite heart. Corben realizes he now has superhuman strength and sets out to exact revenge on the Red-Blue Blur, who he perceives to be an irresponsible vigilante. Against Clark’s (Tom Welling) wishes, Lois (Erica Durance) involves herself in the Red-Blue Blur’s investigation, and winds up getting kidnapped by Corben.
Green talked with TV Guide’s Natalie Abrams about all things Metallo, including who built him, why he hates the Blur and whether he’ll return later this season.

BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN (“TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES”) GUEST STARS AS JOHN CORBEN – Clark (Tom Welling) tells Jor-El he¹s ready to start his training, but Jor-El sends him back to Metropolis to cut ties with Lois before he can begin. Chloe (Allison Mack) is shocked when Lois (Erica Durance) suddenly reappears after having been missing for weeks, but Lois has no recollection of vanishing into thin air with the Legion ring. While investigating a monorail crash, Lois meets John Corben (guest star Brian Austin Green), a new reporter at The Daily Planet, with a negative attitude toward the Red-Blue Blur. Chloe begs Clark to use the Legion ring to go back in time to save Jimmy, but he refuses, driving a wedge into their friendship. Meanwhile, Oliver (Justin Hartley) continues down a dark road, and Zod (Callum Blue) arrives at the Luthor mansion.

Check out the first photo of Brian Austin Green as Smallville’s Metallo. He was killed by a robotic assassin in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles last spring, and now he is coming back to TV as a different kind of cyborg. In a two-episode arc on Smallville, he plays John Corben, a new Daily Planet reporter who becomes the comic-book villain Metallo.
