Smallville opened the final day of Comic-Con with a super-sized bang. The cast and producers of the CW series dished out more spoilers than we can wrap our heads around. From Allison Mack's exit and the introduction of the super-suit (which is actually the very suit from Superman Returns), to new villains and resurrections, TVGuide.com has all the scoop.

“We came into this season with 100 ideas, we have a lot of stories,” Souders says. “The studio wants to satisfy the fans. They are not going to tell us in episode 21 ‘Let’s end it.’ They are going to give it time.”

Clark Kent (Tom Welling) is getting a little obsessed as the Red Blue Blur, his budding crime-fighting alias. “He is trying a little too hard to be a hero, and is leaving the rest of his life behind,” says executive producer Brian Peterson. We're actually hearing of a "strained relationship" between Chloe and Clark next season on Smallville. Those two will always work together, and they will always be your "Chloe and Clark," but expect some tension in season nine. Sorry guys.

The CW has recently released 12 images and the official description of the season finale of Smallville "Doomsday". The photos feature Tom Welling, Justin Hartley, Allison Mack and Aaron Ashmore.
