THE STORY SO FAR
Before the legend, before the icon, there was a teenager named Clark Kent. Clark doesn't wear glasses, there's no suit and he can't fly. Between the boy he thought he was and the man he is destined to become are the stories of Smallville. Someday, he'll master his powers and understand his true calling.

Powers, and how he got them: A form of Artificial Intelligent with similar powers to that of Clark's (Speed, Strength) and the ability to morph parts of his body into sharp objects. His actual body is a crystallized black aquaeous form, therefore he can probably change the way he looks too if he wanted. It's presumed that in the Smallville continuity, Zod created him, although in the comics, he is not of Kryptonian origins. Also, on the show he currently has 3 other duplicates of himself.
How he died/left the show: He is the first villain to make more than a 2 episode repeat on the show. First time he had a confrontation with Clark; in the FOS, he seemed to have died due to have a crystal pierce his chest. He however has returned and his current whereabouts are all over the place as he is collecting some form of a virus.
