The former Dukes of Hazzard and Smallville star plays a sleazy Nashville record producer on “Leverage”
Here’s an excerpt of the interview.
iF: SMALLVILLE is coming to an end this year and on IMDB it says you’re appearing on the season premiere. Will you appear this season?
SCHNEIDER: Let’s leave it a mystery – wait until the premiere airs to find out if it’s true.iF: That said, let’s talk hypothetical, would you like to have a little presence in the final year if it worked out?
SCHNEIDER: I would love to have a presence in the final year, if not the final show. It’s a great show, I’ve missed it. Obviously when I go to different comic conventions, people obviously were saddened by the loss of Jonathan Kent, and I’m honored by their sadness and would be delighted to be part of it in its final season.iF: I still look at that death scene of Jonathan Kent as one of the most amazing moments on SMALLVILLE, if not any genre show.
SCHNEIDER: It was a very well written episode. The whole thing of Clark wanting Lana back and being told it was irreversible and him saying he didn’t care and my death occurring because of it. That was incredible writing. It’s a very well written show. For the full interview, click here.
