Actor Gil Bellows has reportedly been cast as DC Comics character Maxwell Lord on Smallville.
The former Ally McBeal co-star will appear as the villainous businessman on the 19th episode of Smallville‘s season nine titled ‘Charade’, reports IGN.
The guest role may potentially become a recurring slot.
Bellows appeared in 2008 TV film 24: Redemption.
