Britt Irvin as Stargirl, Michael Shanks as Hawkman, Brent Stait as Dr. Fate
Fancast – Writer Geoff Johns is assembling quite a stellar cast for ‘Smallville’s‘ 11th episode, which is entitled “Society” and will introduce Clark to several members of the Justice Society of America.
For starters, I can report exclusively that Britt Irvin will guest-star in the super-anticipated episode as Stargirl (real name: Courtney Whitmore).
Irvin’s credits include the big-screen comedy ‘Hot Rod,’ The CW’s ‘Aliens in America’ and the teen-oriented series ‘The Assistants.’
It was also reported today (by IGN) that “Society” will serve up Hawkman and Dr. Fate, to be portrayed by Michael Shanks (’Stargate SG-1′) and Brent Stait (’Andromeda’). Additional JSA members are expected to be cast.
Glen Winter, who last season directed Geoff Johns’ “Legion” episode, will get behind the cameras for “Society,” which is slated to air in January 2010.
