Out of four nominations in the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, Smallville brought home one of those awards with Tom Welling winning the “Choice TV Actor – Action/Adventure” category. Tom wasn’t there to receive the award as he is currently filming Season 9 in Vancouver.
This is the second Teen Choice Award for Tom as he won “Choice Breakout Star, Male” back in 2001.
