Why is it that I am always starting my reviews out with OMG? Because that is exactly what they are, OH MY GOD!! There may be a writers strike going on, but right now they are not affecting Smallville! This episode is probably one my favorites episodes so far. The Clana, the Clana alone was the most amazing ever! And we all know that my life is all about more Clana!
Whoa! When you mix Lana with Clark’s ability you get one ticked off individual. She was out fro revenge and out to kill. I thought there were times that she was a bit tough on Clark. Lex does deserve justice served but not to kill him. He is starting to act like the Lex in the comics that hates Superman because he is an alien. Here Lex is acting like it is his life’s mission to eradicate the world of all alien life forms. But I digress, she was seriously kicking a** and taking names. Lana beats up Grant, Lois and Lex. How sweet was that? When she kidnaps Lex and threatens him, I did hate how he was trying to manipulate her into thinking she was like he was and that Clark would never understand her like he did. I don’t think Lana ever needs to get Clark’s powers ever again. She can’t handle the pressure.
Lionel was creepy the way he was trying to tell Clark that maybe he didn’t know Lana as well as he thought he did. That maybe she was too disturbed. He told Clark about how she was the one behind his kidnapping. Then when he see Lex he tells Clark that maybe Clark didn’t actually trust Lana either and when Clark goes to see Lex after Lana goes back to normal, he tells Clark that maybe Lana still has feelings for him and that obsession lasts longer than love. When Clark tells him that she never would have acted this way if it wasn’t for Lex, Lex tells him that she started down this road when she was with him. Let’s not forget Chloe and how she threatened Lana that Chloe would not let Lana bring him down. She also alluded to maybe she wasn’t the one for him.
Before I get to the Clana goodies, let me tie up some loose ends. Seems that there is something going on with Lois and Grant. It started out as some sexual tension and then it ended up with some serious kissing. And since we are on Grant, something tells me that he is working with Lionel or Lex since the Scion files were erased by him. And what is Scion? It is a defense program devised by LuthorCorp and what did it use? The spaceship of Dr. Fine’s. It turned from a powder to a liquid and it kept trying to get out of its sealed tube. Once there was a fight with Clark and Lana, the vile is broken and Milton aka Brainiac is on the loose. So, he gets into an unknowing host and he is back!
NOW TO CLANA!! The opening scene before the credits with them riding the horses and then the accident at the farm where Lana got some of Clark’s powers and the look on her face was so cute. But the next scene! The next scene was, well, it was PRICELESS!!! They are racing across the field together and then they were out in the loft and well, Lana decides that they can now be together. You know what I mean by together. WINK! WINK! I have to tell you the whole deal! Lana was taking off her shirt and Clark was looking at her and then he swept her off her feet. The next thing you see is leaves falling off the trees, Chloe’s coffee rippling, and things shaking at the Talon, a loud banging, over and over and over again! HMM!!! The damage to the barn was so wonderful!! HA, HA, HA! Holes in the roof and a broken weather vane! Chloe shows up and said that she had been trying to reach them for 2 hours!!! That there had been seismic activity all over Smallville and Clark said that was probably them and Chloe wants to know how. She looks at Lana who is only wearing Clark’s shirt and it was like “Oh.” The next thing she asks Lana was she thought they couldn’t and Lana says that was before and Clark was like do you talk about this. Chloe was like “Awkward.” PRICELESS!!!
So, then Lana goes all crazy and she and Clark fight over whether or not to kill Lex. Clark doesn’t want to and Lana thinks he needs to start hiding at the farm and do something about it. Well, he gets his powers back and she loses them. Back at the farm, Lana and Clark talk in the loft where Lana tells him that she is sorry about what had happened but she was doing it to protect him and that she would go to any means necessary. Clark said even kill. He told her that they could not do that. She wanted him to stop looking at her like he had never scene her before. Clark said he was looking for a part if her that he knew before. Lana said that all she wanted was for him to say no matter what, he still loved her. And he looks at her and off the show goes!! I HATE CLIFF HANGERS!!! You know he does! Of course!
This episode was amazing! Super duper exciting and amazing! I loved it to pieces. The moments when they were being sweet and romantic were great and the moments when Lana was being Super Lana was cool. My husband was drooling!!! Who wouldn’t? She looked hot. And Tom? Tom always does. I love Smallville and life? Life for a Clana lover is good!
